Get outside, get onto a river, immerse yourself in nature.
This is what our scenic flat water paddle was designed for.
We have two offerings, one in Parys (in the Orange Freestate) and one on the Keurbooms River outside Plettenberg Bay on the Garden Route.
Parys:
We start at Likkewaan Canoe club on the outskirts of Parys. Here, you will be met by your guide. When everyone is briefed and geared up, your guide will lead you up river. We will paddle around and between the many uninhabited islands, this three hour paddle includes amazing scenery and loads of bird life. It’s every nature lovers dream paddle, go with the flow and enjoy being in truly unspoilt nature.
Keurbooms:
We start at Cape Nature just off the N2 outside Plettenberg Bay. Here, you will be met by your guide. When everyone is briefed and geared up for the day your guide will lead you up the river to a picnic spot where we will stop for a bite to eat and enjoy the natural surroundings of this pristine environment. There is an abundance of bird life including the Knysna Turaco, and plenty more wildlife such as seals and otters. The surrounding banks are covered in thick indigenous forest, every nature lovers happy place.
We will use two man sit on top kayaks which are very stable and glide through the water more easily than a raft, each person will have a paddle and lifejacket, and the trip is guided by a qualified and professional guide. These trips are suitable for all ages 10 and up and all level of paddlers.
Min number is 4 pax.
